What is the length of the Radiography Education program?
The radiography program is a twenty-four calendar month program. Students are required to attend classes during the Fall, Spring and Summer semesters over the two year period.

Can I attend the program on a part time basis?
The radiography education major courses are only offered during the day session. These courses must be taken in the sequence and semesters that they are offered and this aspect of the program must be taken on a full time basis.

Several General Education courses can be taken on a part time basis before admission to the program. In addition, a student may choose the Allied Health Pre-Professional degree option and then follow the RADT or RADC track:

Should I take the Transfer Track or Career Track?

Transfer Track:

Designed to provide maximum transferability of courses for individuals seeking advanced degrees.

- Advanced degree program, (bachelor’s degree).
- Ancillary careers,(Radiation Therapy, Diagnostic Ultrasound or Nuclear Medicine)

Career Track:

If you already have a bachelor’s degree and are considering Radiography as your ultimate goal, choose the career track.

Both the Transfer and Career track lead to your ARRT and New Jersey State License.

What is the job outlook?
Graduates from the program can work in hospitals, clinics and physician and chiropractor's offices. Many of our students are offered positions prior to graduation. Positions are available on a full time, part time and per diem basis. New grads can expect to earn $22-$29/hour and the average salary for a Radiologic Technician in New Jersey is $62,350.
