1. Apply to the College

Freshman and Transfer Applicants
I am scheduled to finish high school this year, I have already graduated from high school, I have received a GED in the past few years, or I am currently attending another college/university and want to transfer to Middlesex County College.

Visiting and Non-Degree Seeking Applicants
I wish to take courses at Middlesex County College while attending another college or university or I wish to take a course or two as a part-time, non-degree seeking student.

Health Technology Applicants
I want to study Nursing (RN), Dental Hygiene, Radiography, Respiratory Care or Medical Laboratory Technology.

International Applicants
I am applying for an F1 Student Visa to study at Middlesex County College.

2. Apply for Financial Aid

Applying for Financial Aid is a three step process. We recommend that you apply online to speed up the process. It usually takes 1-2 weeks to process an online application or 6-8 weeks to process a paper application.

3. Take College Placement Test

Incoming students are evaluated in reading, writing and mathematical skills. A College Placement Test is given to determine skill levels in these areas. The results will be used, along with other information, to place you in the courses appropriate to your level of preparation. In some cases this may include non-college level developmental education courses.

4. Sign up for Orientation

All first-time, full-time and part-time students need to attend Orientation. Transfer students can go directly to the Academic Advising Center in Chambers Hall to be advised and to register for classes. In order to attend Orientation, you need to:

Be fully admitted into the college. You will receive a username and password for Campus Cruiser.
Take your college placement test or submit paperwork to be exempt.

During Orientation you will:

Meet with an academic advisor
Register for classes
Get your college ID card
Take a short tour of campus
Learn from other students and professionals about being a student at MCC

5. Pay your Bill

You can pay your tuition bill online using a credit card (Visa, Mastercard, or Discover). You can also pay your bill at Orientation if you come prepared with a debit or credit card. Students taking 6 or more credits can apply for a Payment Option Plan that will spread the bill over 3 payments.
