Prospective Student Enrollment Instructions
New students may enroll to matriculate in a MCC degree or certificate program or may study part-time with no degree or certificate desired. For more information on the programs and majors offered at MCC, click here.

NEW DEGREE OR CERTIFICATE-SEEKING STUDENTS:
- Submit the application with a $25 application fee. The quickest and easiest way is to apply online.
- Have an official copy of your high school transcript sent to the Admissions Office, or, if you have a GED, have those scores sent to the Admissions Office. If you have attended college previously you should also have your transcript sent from your prior college. Prior college credit may transfer and may exempt you from placement testing.
- If you have never been to college before and you want to enroll in a major you will need to take our College Placement Test. If you have taken the test here before you do not have to take it again. If you have a disability and need testing accommodations please contact Disability Services prior to taking the Accuplacer to work out appropriate arrangements (732.906-2546).
- If you have been admitted to a degree or certificate program and have taken the College Placement Test, you may sign up for an Orientation session. At Orientation, you will meet with an academic advisor, register for classes and learn from other students and professionals about life at MCC. - New English as a Second Language (ESL) students meet by appointment with advisors in the ESL Department.
- Do not forget to apply for financial aid. It is recommended that any student interested in receiving financial aid for the summer or fall semester apply on line as soon as possible at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Payment plans are available to students taking 6 or more credits. Plan to pay your bill to the College. If you receive financial aid you will be reimbursed.
