Physical Education Center Information Fact Sheet

HOURS OF OPERATION: Monday thru Friday from 7am - 10pm and Saturday 10am-4pm

MCC STUDENTS:Current full and part time students may use the swimming pool and fitness center for free during the hours shown without the asterisk (*) on the opposite side of this page as long as they have a current validated college card.  Evening and weekend use of the fitness center is restricted to fitness club members.  MCC students will pay community racquetball rates (see below) with a current validated college ID card.  Students and college staff must validated ID's in order to obtain fitness club memberships which are to be purchased at the Bluecolt Bookstore. Bring the receipt for membership payment from the Bookstore to the PE Center to obtain your Fitness Membership

Family memberships will be limited to the individual and three (3) additional family members living in that household.

The above rates will be prorated as appropriate for alumni, full time faculty, staff and grants personnel with contracts less than one year.  *Adjuncts must be here for four (4) consecutive semesters in order to apply.

GENERAL USE FEES: RENTALS:  (please note these rates are subject to change)
Swimming Pool School $70.00/hr
$5.00 per person per session to the general public. Community, nonprofit & county organizations $80.00/hr
Children 4 years of age and under are free of charge. Other groups $100.00/hr
Children 16 years old and under need a parent/guardian
in a bathing suit on the pool deck to enter the pool. FITNESS CENTER
This guardian MUST ALSO pay the admission fee. Children under 16 are not permitted in the fitness center.
There is a ratio of two (2) children to one (1) adult.

Sauna: The sauna will only be open during the scheduled hours listed on the other side.  Use of sauna is free to MCC students & staff members with valid id cards as well as activity tag holders.  Those who are not activity tag holders must pay a $5.00 fee during the hours listed on the other side.  Please see the PE Center director for use of the sauna.  NO HONEY, DYES OR OILS OF ANY KIND PERMITTED IN THE SAUNA!!

RACQUETBALL COURTS:

Mon - Fri:          7AM - 4PM            $10/hr MCC Community                         $10/hr general public

4PM - 9PM            $10/hr MCC Community                         $20/hr general public

Saturday:                                      $10/hr MCC Community                         $20/hr general public

Each participant is entitled to play with one free guest. Additional guests will be charged $2.00 each with a total of four (4) to a court.

MCC community members include registered students charged the student service fee, full time faculty, full time staff, administrators, grants, teamsters, adjuncts and confidentials.
