In her nine years as head coach for the Lady Colts softball program, Carey Monkowski has brought a family atmosphere and camaraderie that promotes hard work and competition, both on and off the field.

With over twenty-five years of experience, both as a player and coach, Monkowski brings a knowledge of the game and a style that has earned many players All-American, All-Region and/or All-Garden State Athletic Conference (GSAC) awards.

Monkowski earned her Bachelor’s Degree at Western New England College in Massachusetts (1996) and her Masters in Athletic Administration from Springfield College in Massachusetts (1998). Away from the field, Monkowski is the mother of twin daughters, Amanda and Madison.

Overall Record 26-7

Finished tied for 2nd place in Region XIX with a record of 21-3. Lost in Semi-Final round of Region Tournament.

Six single season records were broken.

Seven players were named to the All-Region Teams:
