Recovered Bicycle - Gateway Building 01/31/08 04:10 AM
A bicycle was left unattended leaning against the front of the Gateway Building. Attempts were made to contact the owner, but were unsuccessful. Closed - C.

Criminal Mischief - Parking Lot #7 01/31/08 03:05 PM
An individual reported that he parked his car in Lot #7 between the hours of 9:30 am and 2:15 pm. As he was driving on College Drive East, he noticed that his passenger side rear view mirror was missing. He pulled into Lot #2 and notified police. Open Case.

Motor Vehicle Accident - College Dr. East/Parkside Drive 01/31/08 12:39 PM
Vehicle #1 was heading north on College Dr. E. when Vehicle #2 pulled out into the road from Parkside Dr. causing paint damage and scratches to the right front bumper of Vehicle #1. Closed - C.

The driver of Vehicle #1 returned to his car after class and noticed that someone had hit the car causing significant damage to the driver's side bumper. Closed - C.

Simple Assault - College Center 01/31/08 11:10 AM
A student reported getting into a verbal confrontation with her ex-boyfriend. The victim grabbed onto the suspect's backpack in an attempt to calm him down. The suspect then punched her in the right eye and kicked her in the stomach while attempting to leave the scene. The suspect fled on foot towards L'Hommedieu Hall. The victim will be following up with a temporary restraining order. Criminal complaints are also being signed. Open Case.

A student reported that someone had attempted to break into her vehicle while it was parked in Lot #1. She noticed that the lock on the front passenger door was missing and it was evident that someone had cut it out. Open Case.

Motor Vehicle Accident - Parking Lot #5 01/29/08 12:38 PM
As Vehicle #1 was heading east in Lot #5, it was struck on the passenger side by Vehicle #2 which was pulling out of a parking space. Vehicle #1 sustained passenger side scrapes, Vehicle #2 sustained left fender damage. Closed - C.

Vehicle #1 struck Vehicle #2 on the passenger side as Vehicle #1 was attempting to make a left turn onto College Drive East. Vehicle #1 sustained bumper and headlight damage. Vehicle #2 sustained scratches and dents to its passenger side. Closed - C.

Vehicle #1 was backing out of a parking space and struck Vehicle #2 who was waiting to park. Vehicle #1 sustained scratches and denting to driver's side rear bumper. Vehicle #2 sustained a large dent to driver's side rear quarter panel. Closed - C.

Vehicle #1 was turning into the Edison Circle when the driver hit the curb and traveled onto the grass, striking a parking sign. Vehicle #1 sustained minor right front end damage and possible under carriage damage. Parking sign was ripped out of the ground. Closed - C.

Vehicle #1 was struck by Vehicle #2 when it was unoccupied and parked in Lot #4. After locating the driver of Vehicle #2, he stated that his car tends to slip out of gear. Closed - C.

An individual tripped and fell over a cement parking block located in Lot #15. She appeared to have a cut on her eye with swelling and a cut to her nose. Closed - C.

A black marker was used to place graffiti on the wall in the men's restroom. Photos were taken and the graffiti was promptly removed. Open Case.

A staff member stated that the mat she stepped on slipped from under her feet and she fell causing head and back pain. Edison First Aid transported the patient to a local hospital. Closed - C.

A student complained of feeling lightheaded and nauseous. Edison First Aid was called, but the patient refused medical treatment. Closed - C.

Suspicious Activity - West Hall 01/25/08 11:01 AM
On two separate occasions, a staff member noticed that her computer had been turned on when she arrived at work in the morning. She stated that she turned her computer off before leaving the office the night before. Nothing had been reported missing from the office. Open Case.

Criminal Mischief - Parking Lot #11 01/25/08 04:12 PM
Sometime between 7:00 am and 4:12 pm, a staff member's tires were punctured. All four tires were flat and incapable of being inflated. Open Case.

Vehicle #1 was starting into a right hand turn on red, when it stopped due to sun glare. Vehicle #2 then made contact from behind. Both vehicles sustained bumper damage. Closed - C.

Hit and Run - Parking Lot #1 01/24/08 12:49 PM
The driver of Vehicle #1 parked in Lot #1. When he returned to his car after class, he noticed that someone struck the front side of his vehicle causing significant damage to the hood and engine. The vehicle needed to be towed from the scene. There were no witnesses. Open Case.

A brown powdery substance was found in the men's restroom both on the floor and in the sinks. The same substance was also noticed in the elevator located in IRC. It was determined that the substance was not harmful and subsequently cleaned up. Closed - C.

On 1/21/08 at 4:18 am, alarms were activated for rooms 101 and 104. All exterior doors were found secured and nothing appeared to have been tampered with. Closed - C.

A student was asked to leave the classroom after failing to observe rules that were in place. After initially refusing to leave, the student cooperated and was subsequently switched into another section. Closed - C.

Two males were noticed standing by two vehicles in the parking lot of Ben Franklin School. After approaching the individuals to see if they needed assistance and running the registration of the vehicles, it was determined that there was a warrant out for the arrest of one of the individuals. An individual stated that he fell down while moving some chairs in the County Garage Building 216. The individual sustained a laceration to the left leg, upper lip and was bleeding from the nose. Closed - C.

Motor Vehicle Accident - Parking Lot #1 01/09/08 01:00 PM
Vehicle #1 was driving on the pedestrian crosswalk when it struck Vehicle #2 causing substantial damage to Vehicle #2's front-end bumper, hood, driver's side headlight and fender. Vehicle #1 sustained front passenger side damage. No injuries were reported. Closed - C.
