Burglary/Theft - Parking Lot #6 03/31/08 02:10 PM
An individual reported that sometime between 10:30 am and 12:00 pm someone had ripped into his convertible roof and taken a number of items from his vehicle. Open Case.

Defiant Trespass - Mill Road 03/31/08 12:35 PM
An individual was issued a defiant trespass warning after it was discovered the person had no official business on the campus as a result of the individual ripping up a summons he was issued, discarding it on the ground and then proceeding to leave campus at a high rate of speed while in the presence of the officer. Closed - A.

Suspicious Person - College Center 03/25/08 03:48 PM
Police were called to the report of a suspicious person taking photographs on the campus. The individual was identified and explained he was taking photos on the campus as part of a presentation he was giving. The person was advised to notify Police Headquarters in advance in the future. Closed - C.

Medical - Edison Hall 03/25/08 04:37 PM
An individual apparently collapsed and hit her head. The patient was found lying on the floor stating that her head hurt and she was dizzy. Oxygen was administered while awaiting an ambulance. The patient was transported to a local hospital. Closed - C.

Criminal Mischief - Raritan Hall 03/20/08 04:38 PM
A staff member reported finding graffiti on an inside stall located in the men's restroom in the basement of Raritan Hall. Open Case.

Hit and Run - Parking Lot #6A 03/20/08 02:25 PM
An individual returned to her vehicle to find the left turn signal broken off and pieces of it lying on the ground. There were no known witnesses. Open Case.

Arrest - Woodbridge Ave. 03/20/08 03:48 PM
An individual was taken into custody after it was determined that there was a warrant out for his arrest. Closed - A.

Medical - Performing Arts Center 03/18/08 05:00 PM
A male was having difficulty breathing and experiencing chest pains. The patient was treated at the scene while awaiting transport via EMS to a local hospital. Closed - C.

Criminal Mischief - IRC/Library 03/18/08 12:39 PM
It was reported that individuals were spitting a red saliva-like substance througout the IRC and Library. No suspects have been identified at this time. Open Case. 3/20/08 - The suspects of the reported incident were successfully identified. Closed - D. Referred to CSC.

Lost/Missing Property - Library 03/18/08 04:30 PM
An individual reported that she lost her car keys in the vicinity of the restroom located in the Library. Her house key was also on the same key ring. Closed - C.

Motor Vehicle Accident - College Drive East 03/17/08 03:32 PM
The driver of Vehicle #1 struck the back end of Vehicle #2, which in turn struck the back end of Vehicle #3. All 3 vehicles were traveling westbound on College Dr. East approaching the Mill Road light. All 3 vehicles sustained damage. Closed - C.

Motor Vehicle Accident - College Drive East 03/17/08 10:58 AM
Vehicle 3 and Vehicle 2 were slowing in traffic before the light at Woodbridge Avenue as Vehicle 1, not noticing the slowed traffic, rear-ended Vehicle 2 who in turn rear-ended Vehicle 3. The drivers of Vehicle 2 and Vehicle 1 refused medical attention for Edison First Aid. Closed C.

Arrest - Parking Lot #6 03/13/08 02:15 PM
An individual was arrested for causing extensive damage to a vehicle parked in Lot #6 which included keying it, braking the vehicle's brake lights and inscribing insulting remarks on it. The vehicle's owner was notified. Closed - A.

Criminal Mischief - Parking Lot #4 03/12/08 11:42 PM
A vehicle parked in Lot #4 sustained a dent on the driver's side door and scrape marks along its rear bumper. There were no witnesses to this incident. Open Case.

Possibly Disturbed Person - Perth Amboy Center 03/07/08 12:16 PM
A faculty member reported that one of her students had turned in a paper whose contents raised concern about the student's mental/emotional well being. The case was referred to the Counseling Center for further action. RTD.

Motor Vehicle Accident - Parking Lot #6 03/05/08 02:05 PM
Vehicle #1 was struck on the passenger side by Vehicle #2 which was backing out of a parking spot. Vehicle #1 sustained damage to both doors on the its passenger side. Vehicle #2 sustained bumper damage. Closed - C.

Motor Vehicle Accident - Parkside Drive 03/05/08 02:20 PM
The driver of Vehicle #1 was stopped awaiting to make a turn onto College Drive East when it was struck from behind by Vehicle #2. No noticeable damage was apparent on either vehicle. Closed - C.

Concerned Professor - Technical Services Center 03/05/08 12:35 PM
A professor expressed concern over a student whom she felt was having behavorial problems. After speaking with the student, it was determined that it would be beneficial for the student to take the course with another teacher. Closed - C.

Theft - College Center Room 109 03/04/08 02:30 PM
An individual reported that four 20 gallon crock pots were missing from the HRI Department. The last time the pots were seen was on Feb. 29, 2008. A search of the area yielded negative results. Open Case.

Motor Vehicle Accident - College Drive East 03/04/08 08:32 AM
The driver of Vehicle #1 lost control of his vehicle while negotiating a curve, spun out and struck the curb with the driver's side tire causing damage to the tire and rim. Closed - C.

Suspicious Person - IRC 03/03/08 11:33 AM
A staff member reported seeing two suspicious males in the women's restrooms located in IRC. A search of the area yielded negative results. The report came in approx. 15 minutes after the sighting occurred. Open Case.
