Motor Vehicle Accident - Parking Lot #6 12/21/09 11:33 AM
Vehicle 1 was traveling through the lot when the driver of vehicle 2 backed out of her spot not realizing vehicle 1 was behind her. Vehicle 1 sustained a dent to the passenger side of the vehicle. Vehicle 2 received minor paint damage. There were no reported injuries. Closed - C.

Missing/Lost Property - Main Hall 12/21/09 08:20 PM
A staff member reported the portable heater kept under her desk was missing. The victim stated the heater was last seen Friday evening whe she left work. The heater was described as black in color on a swivel base approximately 1 square foot wide. Open Case.

Theft - College Center 12/18/09 03:03 PM
An individual left her cell phone charging in the College Center. When she returned to retrieve the phone, it was no longer there. Open Case.

Motor Vehicle Accident - Parking Lot #6 12/18/09 01:44 PM
Vehicle 1 was backing out of a parking space when it struck vehicle 2 who had already pulled out of their space. Both vehicles sustained scratches and scuffs to their bumpers. Closed - C.

Simple Assault - Edison Campus 12/18/09 01:00 PM
A woman reported to police that she and her sister were involved in a verbal altercation when her sister assaulted her. The victim sustained a laceration to her finger and reportedly received a slap on her cheek. The suspect was charged with simple assault. Closed - A.

Criminal Mischief - Raritan Hall 12/18/09 12:42 PM
Writings and drawings were found in the upstair's men's restroom. Facilities Maintenance removed the drawings after pictures were obtained. There are no known witensses at this time. Open Case.

A staff member reported some holiday treats had gone missing overnight after the department held a celebration. Closed - C.

Subsequent to conducting a motor vehicle stop, it was determined that there was a warrant out for the driver's arrest. The individual was taken into custody. Closed - A.

Theft - Library 12/17/09 06:05 PM
An individual reported that after leaving her bookboag at a desk in the Library, she returned to find it missing. The bag was found in the men's restroom. Several books and a sum of cash were missing from the bag. Open Case.

Theft - Technical Services Center 12/17/09 01:37 PM
A student reported money and an identification card were missing from her wallet. The student explained that the wallet was in her bookbag which was left in the care of a fellow student. When the victim returned, the bookbag was gone and the friend didn't know how or where. The friend subsequently searched for the bookbag and found it elsewhere on campus but with the money and ID gone. Open Case.

Theft - Physical Education Center 12/16/09 01:35 PM
An individual reported his laptop computer was taken out of an unlocked locker in the P.E. Center. The laptop was located inside a book bag, though no additional items were missing. Open Case.

Medical - Physical Education Center 12/16/09 06:28 PM
An individual dislocated his shoulder while playing racquetball. The patient was transported to a local hospital. Closed - C.

Harassment - College Drive East 12/16/09 07:30 PM
A driver claimed that while he was off campus, another vehicle had cut him off. After arriving on campus, the suspect's vehicle was spotted. The suspect then pulled closely behind the victim's vehicle, exited his vehicle and became involved in a verbal dispute. The driver locked his doors and windows and after they left reported it to police. Closed - C.

Suspicious Activity - Edison Campus 12/16/09 10:00 AM
A staff member reported she and several other members of the campus had received disturbing communications by a former student. Due to the nature of the message, the proper organization was contacted for further action. Closed C.

While attempting to pull into a parking space, Vehicle #2 struck Vehicle #1 which was parked. Vehicle #1 sustained a dent and paint transfer on the back driver's side rear panel. Vehicle #2 sustained damage to its passenger side bumper. Closed - C.

Arrest - BlueColt Bookstore 12/14/09 05:32 PM
Police received a report of a stolen textbook being presented at the bookstore's buyback. Further investigation revealed additional victims whose books were taken and brought to the buyback. The suspect was identified and charged accordingly. Closed - A.

Theft - College Center 12/14/09 09:00 AM
A staff member contacted police to report that a number of items utilized by the department have gone missing over the course of the Fall semester. Due to the nature of their business and the items involved, it wasn't reported sooner in the belief that the items were merely misplaced. There are no known witnesses at this time. Open Case.

Dispute - Instructional Resource Center 12/11/09 08:20 AM
Two students became involved in an argument. At some point, they started pushing each other. The situation was quickly diffused and they were able to work out their differences before police arrived. Closed - C.

Theft - Library 12/11/09 05:46 PM
Someone walked away with a set of keys which were left by a computer. The owner of the keys left them by the computer while he went to the printer. When he returned, the keys were gone. Open Case.

Motor Vehicle Accident - Parking Lot #1 12/10/09 11:04 AM
Vehicles #1 and #2 were both backing out of parking spaces when they collided. There was cosmetic damage to the right rear end's of both vehicles. Closed - C.

Dispute - Parking Lot 6A 12/10/09 10:00 PM
After being pulled over for careless driving, the driver stated that he had just been involved in a dispute in Lot #6A and this caused him to drive erratically. He reportedly was walking with a female when three males, one of them the female's boyfriend, threatened him. He was advised to file a report at Headquarters, which he did but later retracted. Terroristic Threat - Edison Campus 12/10/09 10:30 AM
A student began receiving text messages from another student, which she believed were of a threatening nature. This case is currently being investigated. Open Case.

Criminal Mischief - Parking Lot #8 12/09/09 02:00 PM
An individual reported that on 12/8/09 between the hours of 2:30 p.m. and 4:02 p.m. he parked his vehicle in Lot #8 and when he returned he noticed that his sunroof deflector was broken in half. There are no known witnesses or suspects. Open Case.

Vehicle #1 was turning left when it was struck by Vehicle #2 which made a wide turn. Vehicle #1 sustained a dent from the driver's door to the backdoor. Vehicle #2 had minor paint transfer to the front left bumper. Closed - C.

Misc. Assist - Blue Colt Drive 12/08/09 04:23 PM
A cement truck took down a low hanging wire as it was exiting onto Mill Road from Blue Colt Drive. The appropriate authorities were notified and the wire safely removed. Closed - C.

Vehicle #2 was pulling into a parking space when it struck Vehicle #1 which was parked. The passenger side front bumper of Vehicle #2 scraped the driver's side rear bumper of Vehicle #1. Closed - C.

Vehicle #1 was stopped in traffic on College Drive East when it was rear ended by Vehicle #2. The driver of Vehicle #1 complained of head pain but refused medical treatment. Both vehicles sustained damage. Closed - C.

While driving home, an individual noticed a dent in the hood of his vehicle which had been parked in Lot #8 between the hours of 1:00 p.m. and 5:10 p.m. There are no known witnesses or suspects at this time. Open Case.

Vehicle #1 was making a right turn into Parking Lot #2 when it was struck by Vehicle #2 passing on the right side of Vehicle #1. Vehicle #1 sustained damage to the passenger side corner panel. Vehicle #2 sustained a damaged blinker light on the driver's side. Closed - C.

An unknown individual drew what appeared to be profane pictures in a chalk like substance. There are no known witnesses. Open Case.

Hit and Run - Parking Lot #6A 12/02/09 08:33 PM
Vehicle #1 was parked and unoccupied when it was struck on the right side by an unknown vehicle. Damage was present on the right side of the front fender and passenger door. There are no known witnesses. Open Case.

Vehicle #1 was traveling northbound when it was struck on the driver's side front corner panel by Vehicle #2. Both vehicles sustained major damage and were towed from the scene. Closed - C.

Motor Vehicle Accident - Parking Lot #4 12/02/09 01:14 PM
Vehicle #1 was traveling north in the outbound lane of Lot #4. Vehicle #2 approached the outbound lane from one of the intersecting lanes and failed to stop for on-going vehicles colliding into Vehicle #1's driver's door. Vehicle #1 sustained major damage to the driver's door. Vehicle #2 sustained paint transfer and scratches to the front bumper. Closed - C.

Harassment - Edison Campus 12/01/09 10:00 PM
A paasenger on a bus traveling to campus claimed that he was being harassed by the bus driver and felt threatened. Previously, the passenger had been asked by the same driver to exit the bus as the driver was uncomfortable with the passenger on it. Open Case.
