Vehicle #1 was struck by Vehicle #2 while traveling westbound through Lot #4. Both vehicles sustained front end damage. Closed - C.

Theft - Instructional Resource Center 02/25/09 11:02 AM
An individual reported that on 2/21/09, she left her reading glasses on a computer terminal in IRC. The glasses were removed and left on another staff member's desk. When the victim went to retrieve them, they were no where to be found. Additionally, a black Sandisk flashdrive was also taken from a computer terminal located in the Library on 2/25/09. Open Case.

An individual reported that she left her belongings in one of the cubicals for a short period of time. When she returned, she noticed that her purse was missing. It was later found in an elevator in College Center missing a sum of money. Open Case.

Medical - Johnson Learning Center 02/25/09 05:09 PM
An individual sustained a nose bleed which lasted approximately 30 minutes. The victim called a family member to transport him off campus. Closed - C.

Theft - Instructional Resource Center 02/24/09 02:07 PM
An individual reported that on 2/24/09 between the hours of 11:30 am and 12:30 pm, someone removed a laptop from his book bag. He left the bookbag unattended while using the desktop computers. Upon his return, he noticed the laptop was no longer in his bag. There are no known witnesses or suspects at this time. Open Case.

Theft - College Center Cafe B 02/24/09 09:27 AM
An individual reported that she left her bag with a friend in Cafe B for approx. 10 minutes. Upon her return, she noticed that her iPod was missing from the bag. There are no known witnesses or suspects at this time. Open Case.

Motor Vehicle Accident - Parking Lot #1 02/24/09 08:17 AM
Vehicle #1 was parked and was struck from behind by Vehicle #2 which was unoccupied at the time. The driver of Vehicle #2 failed to put the car into park. Vehicle #1 sustained damage to the tire cover. Closed - C.

Motor Vehicle Accident - Parking Lot #4 02/24/09 03:52 PM
Vehicle #1 was traveling westbound through parking Lot #4 when it was struck on the driver's side door by Vehicle #2 which was backing out of a spot. Vehicle #2 sustained damage to the driver's side corner bumper. Vehicle #1 sustained damage to the driver's side front and back doors. Closed - C.

Shoplifting - College Center - Food Court 02/24/09 05:15 PM
An individual was observed taking an item from the Food Court without paying for it. The suspect left the area but was apprehended a short time later. Closed - A.

Hit and Run - Parking Lot #2 02/23/09 05:32 PM
While parked in Lot #2, Vehicle #1 was struck on the driver's side rear bumper. There are no known witnessess at this time. Open Case.

Fire Alarm Activation - College Center - PAC 02/22/09 12:36 PM
A fire alarm was activated in the College Center. The building was evacuated. The fire department was called to the scene and attempted to reset the alarm but was unable to do so. A fire watch was performed until Facilities Maintenance was able to reset the alarm. Closed - C.

Lost/Missing Property - Out of State 02/21/09 01:50 PM
An individual lost her credit card while traveling out of state. The victim was advised to report the loss to police in the state where the card was lost. Open Case.

Fire Alarm - L'Hommedieu Hall 02/18/09 07:35 PM
A fire alarm was activated on the southwest end of L'Hommedieu Hall. The fire department was called and the building evacuated. Maintenance Department reset the alarm panel. There are no known witnesses or known suspect at this time. Open Case.

Criminal Mischief - Technical Services Center - Mechanical Room 02/18/09 10:57 AM
Two oxygen tanks located in the Mechanical Room of TSC were tampered with. Both tanks were half empty and the hoods removed. Open Case.

Hit and Run - Parking Lot #6A 02/18/09 09:20 PM
While parked in Lot #6A, Vehicle #1 was struck on the passenger side door causing the window to shatter and significant damage to the door itself. There are no known witnesses or evidence of the vehicle which struck Vehicle #1. Open Case.

Arson - Raritan Hall 02/17/09 05:20 PM
A staff member reported finding burnt newspaper in a garbage bin located in Raritan Hall. The suspect is unknown at this time. Open Case.

Arson - College Center - PAC 02/17/09 03:07 PM
Police were dispatched to College Center on the report of a burnt mark on the floor of the Men's bathroom located on the first floor. An odor of something having been burnt was present. There is no known suspect at this time. Open Case.

Lost/Missing Property - Outside Library 02/17/09 12:30 PM
An individual reported that he lost his wallet on 2/12/09 in front of the Library. Among the items in the wallet were a credit/debit card, student ID and a green card. Open Case.

Arrest - College Drive East 02/13/09 09:27 AM
An individual was stopped for failing to stop at a stop sign. It was determined that there was a warrant out on her and she was taken into custody. The warrant was subsequently revoked and she was released. Closed - C.

Medical - L'Hommedieu Hall 02/13/09 09:59 AM
An individual was suffering from chest pains and had trouble breathing. EMS was called to transport the individual to a local hospital. She declined and had a family member transport her off campus. Closed - C.

An individual was taken into custody after it was determined that there was a warrant out for said person's arrest. Closed - A.

Motor Vehicle Accident - College Drive East 02/12/09 11:13 AM
Two vehicles collided in the intersection of College Drive East. Minor damage was sustained by both vehicles. No injuries were reported. Closed - C.

Theft - College Center 02/12/09 01:37 PM
An individual reported that she lost her cell phone in College Center on 2/11/09. She noticed activity had taken place on the phone after losing it and was concerned that private pictures/videos would be used without her consent. The phone was subsequently recovered on 2/13/09. Closed - C.

Towed Vehicle - Main Street and Martin 02/11/09 12:06 PM
An individual was pulled over for making an illegul "U Turn" on 514 eastbound. It was determined that the driver had an expired registration. Subsequently, the vehicle was towed. Closed - C.

Lost/Missing Property - Main Hall 02/11/09 12:40 PM
An individual reported that her wallet had fallen out of her back pocket in Main Hall between 11:00 am and 12:25 pm. A search of the area yielded negative results. Open Case.

An individual placed her cell phone down in the women's restroom located in IRC. When she went back to retrieve it sometime later, it was no longer there. Open Case.

Theft - Parking Lot #4 02/11/09 01:11 PM
An individual reported that while he was sleeping in his car, someone removed his cell phone and ipod. The doors were unlocked and the windows opened. There are no known suspects or witnesses. Open Case.

Motor Vehicle Accident - Parking Lot #1 02/10/09 02:01 PM
Driver of Vehicle #2 was patrolling Lot #1 when the driver of Vehicle #1 backed out of a parking space into the right rear passenger side wheel and quarter panel causing paint and unknown undercarriage damage to Vheicle #2. No injuries were reported. Closed - C.

An individual reported that on 2/9/09 between 5:45 pm and 6:20 pm he lost his wallet in JLC. Included in the wallet were debit and credit cards. An attempted purchase and a purchase were made against one of the cards. Both cards were subsequently cancelled. Open Case.

An individual entered the Bookstore and placed several items in his pocket. While checking out, a staff member who observed these actions, questioned the individual as to whether he intended to pay for the items. The suspect placed them on the counter and left the store. Open Case.

An individual complained of shortness of breath and numbness to external limbs. Oxygen was administered and the patient was transported to a local hospital. Closed - C.

After pulling into a parking space in Lot #4, the driver was approached by an individual who stated that he was waiting for that particular spot. The driver walked away and the subject made a threatening remark regarding the victim's car. Open Case.

An individual was walking down the hill by Lot #3 when he slipped and fell. The patient complained of severe left leg pain. He was transported to a local hospital. Closed - C.

The driver of Vehicle #1 was backing out of a parking space and backed into Vehicle #2 which was traveling through the lot. Vehicle #1 sustained minor damage to its bumper. Vehicle #2 sustained damage to the driver side door and rear driverside passenger door. No injuries were reported. Closed - C.

Theft - Library 02/04/09 04:15 PM
An individual left a bag with his laptop inside it unattended in the Library for approximately an hour and a half. When he returned, the bag was missing. Approximately one hour later, a bag fitting the description of the missing bag was found in the Men's restroom in JLC, but the laptop was no longer enclosed. Open Case.

Vehicle #1 was traveling on College Drive East when the driver, in attempting to negotiate a curve, lost control and struck a pole. The vehicle sustained major front end damage. The driver and passenger complained of stomach pain. They were transported to a local hospital. Closed - C.

While working on a computer in Chambers Hall, an individual placed her cell phone down on the counter. At some point, the phone disappeared. The area was very crowded at the time. No suspects or witnesses could be identified. Open Case.

A faculty member contacted police expressing concern for a student's well being. Police responded and arranged for the individual to be picked up by a family member. Closed - C.

A wallet had been found in Edison Hall and subsequently returned to its owner by a staff member. It had apparently been lost several years ago but had not been reported to this agency. Closed - C.

An student reported that she was receiving telephone calls and text messages from another student and became concerned for her safety. Subsequently, the matter was turned over to the counseling department. RTD.
