Towing Report - Parking Lot #1 06/30/09 01:45 PM
After conducting a random lookup on a vehicle, it came back as stolen. The vehicle was subsequently towed from the College property. Closed - C.

Recovery of Stolen Vehicle - Parking Lot #1 06/30/09 12:12 PM
Subsequent to conducting a random lookup in Lot #1, a vehicle came back as stolen with a contact number for Rutgers P.D. Rutgers P.D. was notified, processed the vehicle and had it towed. When the owner of the vehicle came out to her car, she called police headquarters to report it missing. It was further determined that the vehicle had originally been taken by the victim's boyfriend, and the victim had regained custody, but Rutgers P.D. was never notified. Closed - C.

Fire Alarm - Physical Education Center 06/29/09 06:33 PM
Subsequent to a fire alarm being activated, the Physical Education Center was evaucated. Appropriate personnel were notified and after the building was deemed safe, occupants were allowed back in. Closed - C.

Harassment - L'Hommedieu Hall 06/29/09 10:00 PM
An individual reported that during class she made a verbal comment to another individual who in turn threatened her. The victim was advised of her rights and that she could request an escort to class if she felt it necessary. Open Case.

Fire Alarm - Physical Education Center 06/29/09 08:24 PM
Subsequent to a fire alarm being activated, the Physical Education Center was evaucated. Appropriate personnel were notified and after the building was deemed safe, occupants were allowed back in. Closed - C.

Suspicious Activity - Main Hall 06/23/09 07:14 AM
It was reported that someone had gained access to a secured room and threw metal wire hangers all over the floor, hung a metal cord around a whiteboard and placed a piece of brown masking tape on one wall. There was no physical damage to the room and no known suspects or witnesses at this time. Open Case.

Criminal Mischief - Main Hall 06/22/09 01:28 PM
A staff member reported that he noticed four window screens on the ground outside of Main Hall. One of the four had sustained damage. The windows did not sustain damage. However, the clips that hold the screens on were bent. There are no known suspects or witnesses at this time. Open Case.

Lost?Missing Property - Newark Liberty Airport 06/22/09 09:00 PM
A staff member reported leaving his key ring in the security check point bin at Newark LIberty Airport on 6/18/09. He has made several attempts to retrieve the key but so far has been unsuccessful. Open Case.

An individual, who was experiencing chest pains, refused medical attention and transportation to a local hospital. Closed - C.

Hit and Run - Edison Campus 06/20/09 04:45 PM
An unknown object struck a light pole causing it to fall down. The pole sustained extensive damage. Open Case.

An individual reported that her keys were lost. Open Case.

A look-up revealed that an individual had an outstanding warrant and he was subsequently taken into custody. Closed - A.

Vehicle Tow - College Drive East 06/16/09 09:29 PM
Subsequent to a random look-up, the driver came back with a suspended license. The vehicle was towed and the driver charged accordingly. Closed - C.

Suspicious Persons - Main Hall 06/16/09 09:45 PM
A female reported that sometime between 8:00 pm and 9:00 pm, she had an encounter with suspicious persons in the women's restroom located in Main Hall. Upon exiting the stall, she observed three males standing in the hallway of the restroom. She then overheard the male suspects passing comments about her. She was advised to contact Campus Police immediately should this type of situation arise in the future. Open Case.

An individual complained of a lower ankle injury and was transported to a local hospital. Closed - C.

Fire Alarm - Physical Education Center - HVAC Room 06/12/09 10:55 AM
A malfunctioning alarm activated the fire alarm in the HVAC of the P.E. Center. Fire Department deemed the area safe after completing a walkthrough and the alarm was reset. Closed - C.

Criminal Mischief - L'Hommedieu Hall 06/11/09 09:48 PM
The toilet bowl located in the men's bathroom sustained leak from the piping and was ripped off the floor. There are no witnesses or suspects at this time but the investigation is ongoing. Open Case.

Motor Vehicle Accident - Parking Lot 6 06/10/09 11:59 AM
While attempting to back out of a parking space, the driver of Vehicle #1 struck Vehicle #2 which was parked and then proceeded to leave the scene. The driver was subsequently located, admitted to having caused damage to Vehicle #2 and was charged appropriately. Closed - C.

Towed Vehicle - Woodbridge Avenue 06/05/09 11:30 AM
After conducting a motor vehicle stop, it was determined that the driver's license had been suspended and the vehicle was subsequently towed. Closed - C.

Criminal Mischief - South II - Room 105 06/03/09 04:05 PM
It was reported that a locking mechanism to a computer was tampered with. The locking mechanism was replaced and the room secured. Open Case.

Towed Vehicle - Mill Road 06/02/09 09:45 PM
A vehicle was towed after it was determined that the operator had a suspended driver's license. Closed - C.
