Medical - Parkside Drive 09/30/09 09:50 PM
A report was received that an individual was lying on the ground unconscious. When police arrived, the patient was starting to come to. The patient sustained a cut on his upper lip from the fall. EMS was called to the scene and treated the patient. The patient refused transport to a hospital, but was picked up by a family member. Closed - C.

Medical - Area Behind Bookstore 09/30/09 09:15 AM
An individual experienced a seizure behind the Blue Colt Bookstore. EMS was called to the scene and the patient was transported to a local hospital. Closed - C.

After conducting a random look-up, an individual was taken into custody when it was discovered that there was an outstanding warrant for her arrest. Closed - A.

Theft - North Hall Parking Lot 09/30/09 02:24 PM
An individual reported that someone asked to borrow her cell phone to make a call. When she obliged, the suspect took the phone and walked away with it. The victim followed requesting that the suspect return the phone to her. A vehicle pulled up to the scene and the suspect got in requesting the victim to join him. The victim declined and the suspect took off with the phone. Open Case.

Motor Vehicle Accident - Parking Lot #1A 09/29/09 07:37 PM
Vehicle #1 was stopped waiting for a parking space when it was struck by Vehicle #2 which was backing out of a space. Vehicle #1 sustained a cracked bumper and scratches on the passenger side front bumper. Vehicle #2 sustained a minor scratch on the rear driver's side bumper. No injuries were reported. Closed - C.

Motor Vehicle Accident - College Drive East 09/29/09 02:40 PM
Bus driver of Vehicle #1 was stopped on College Dr. East dropping off passengers when it was struck by Vehicle #2. Vehicle #1 sustained rear bumper cosmetic damage and minimal damage to quarter panel area. Vehicle #2 sustained a dent and paint damage to passenger side of area near pick-up truck bed. No injuries reported. Closed - C.

Motor Vehicle Accident - Parking Lot #6 09/29/09 11:48 AM
Vehicle #2 was attempting to park in Lot #6 and struck Vehicle #1 which was unoccupied. Vehicle #2 then backed out and moved the vehicle to another location. Vehicle #1 sustained scraps and paint transfer to the driver's door and rear door. Vehicle #2 sustained minor paint damage to the front bumper. A witness came forth to report this accident. Assault - Parking Lot behind Gateway 09/24/09 02:40 AM
A female victim drove onto the college campus during a heated argument with her boyfriend, concerned for her safety. Upon arrival, the victim exited her vehicle and upon doing so was assaulted by the boyfriend. The victim was treated by EMS and the suspect was taken into custody. Closed - A.

Criminal Mischief - Main Hall 09/24/09 03:32 PM
A staff member reported that the locking device on one of the stalls in the men's bathroom located on the first floor was broken off. It appeared that the door had been kicked in and the lock was missing. The wood frame was also damaged. There are no known suspects or witnesses at this time. Open Case.

Vehicle #1 was traveling on Parkside Drive when it was struck by Vehicle #2 entering the roadway from Parking Lot #1. The driver of Vehicle #2 did not stop at the stop sign. Vehicle #1 sustained damage to the passenger side door. Vehicle #2 sustained damage to the front bumper. Closed - C.

Hit and Run - Parking Lot #6A 09/24/09 02:01 PM
The driver of Vehicle #1 came back to her parked motor vehicle and noticed substantial damage to the rear driver's side bumper, wheel well and rim. Paint transfer was also present. The suspect vehicle fled the scene. Open Case.

An individual was approached by a white male, approx. 6'1", muscular build, and defined jaw. The suspect questioned the victim as to his relationship with one of the suspect's friends. The victim asked the suspect to leave him alone; the suspect threw the victim to the ground and fled the scene. Open Case.

An individual reported that she felt uncomfortable when a unknown male approached her and tried to get her to sit with him. The suspect took off on foot and could not be located. Closed C.

Theft of Service - College Center 09/22/09 03:15 PM
An individual used a car service in order to get to campus. Upon arrival, the suspect stated that he needed to go in to obtain money from an ATM. The suspect then fled the scene without paying for the services and could not be located. Open Case.

Misc. Assist - Johnson Learning Center 09/22/09 05:00 PM
A staff member reported that an individual appeared to have been under the influence of alcohol, exhibiting slurring speech and trouble walking. The individual suspected was approached by police and determined to not have slurred speech, spoke eloquently, had full control of his posture and did not appear to be impaired by alcohol. Vehicle #1 was traveling north in parking Lot #6 when it was struck by Vehicle #2 which was backing out of a parking spot. The driver of Vehicle #1 moved forward and Vehicle #2 pulled out and left the scene. Vehicle #1 sustained a dent to the front fender and minor paint damage. Unknown damage to rear bumper of Vehicle #2. Closed - C.

Vehicle #1 was traveling northbound through Lot 6A when it was struck by Vehicle #2 which was pulling out of a parking space. Vehicle #1 sustained a minor scratch to the front bumper. Vehicle #2 sustained a minor dent to the front license plate. No injuries were reported. Closed - C.

An odor of gas was noticed around the area of Room 100. Appropriate personnel were notified. The source of the odor was located and determined not to be gas related. The entire area was secured and periodic checks of the building were conducted to ensure the odor did not persist. Closed - C.

Three individuals reported being verbally harassed by another individual and verbally threatened. A description of the suspect was given. A walkthough of the College Center yielded negative results. Open Case.

An individual stated that someone had stolen his backpack while he was in the Blue Colt Bookstore. Upon reviewing the security footage, the individual was seen leaving the Bookstore with his backpack on his back and then returning a short time later not wearing the backpack. The backpack was turned in to Lost and Found after being left in another location and the individual picked up his belongings. Closed - C.

An individual was approached by a male in his late 20's, approximately 5'8" tall who enticed the victim into a strange conversation and ultimately tried to convince her to go with him to his vehicle. The victim did not feel threatened but did request a report be filed. Closed - C.

An individual reported that he thought he was threatened by another student. At this time, the threat appears to be unfounded, but the victim was advised to contact police should any further situations occur. Unfounded.

An individual reported that he had taken his wallet out of his backpack to take money from it. After class was over, the victim noticed that the wallet was no longer in his backpack where he had put it. Open Case.

An individual reported that someone had taken her wallet out of her backpack when she had left her seat to participate in group work. The wallet contained a gift card, debit card, driver's permit and a sum of money. Open Case.

A motorist was observed talking on their cellular phone without a hands free device while driving through the lot. The police officer who observed the violation attempted to speak with the driver who became belligerent. After failing to follow the officer’s directives and driving away in an erratic manner, the driver was issued motor vehicle summonses. Closed - C.

Disorderly Conduct - College Drive East & Parkside Drive 09/15/09 09:18 AM
A motorist failed to comply with a police officer’s instructions while the officer was directing traffic. The motorist subsequently ran over the officer’s foot with their vehicle. Motor vehicle summonses were issued to the driver. The officer was treated for his injuries and released. Closed - C.
