Misc. Assist - Library 04/30/10 05:15 PM
An individual arrived at the Library at approximately 4:30 pm and attempted to leave at approximately 5:10 pm. While trying to exit, she found that the Library was closed and all the doors were locked. She was not able to unlock the front sliding glass doors to make her exit. Closed - C.

Motor Vehicle Accident - Parking Lot #6A 04/29/10 10:56 AM
Vehicle #1 was backing out of a parking spot when it was struck by Vehicle #2 which was backing-up through the aisle. Vehicle #2 sustained minor paint damage to the rear passenger bumper corner. Vehicle #1 sustained a dent in rear driver's side wheel well area. Closed - C.

Burglary - Parking Lot #4 04/29/10 05:25 PM
An individual parked his vehicle in Lot #4 at approximately 4:00 pm. Upon his return at 5:00 pm, he found that several items were missing from the vehicle including an Apple Ipod, an Ipod charger and an emergency strobe light. The victim stated that he locked his vehicle, but when he returned, his driver's side door was unlocked. There were no signs of forced entry. Open Case.

Burglary - Physical Education Center 04/29/10 08:09 PM
After locking several items in a locker of the men's locker room, the victim returned to find that the locker had been broken into. The victim's items were ransacked but nothing was missing. Open Case.

Hit and Run - Parking Lot #2 04/28/10 07:50 PM
Vehicle #1 was parked in Lot #2 and sustained rear passenger side bumper damage. Vehicle #2 left the scene. There are no witnesses at this time. Open Case.

Burglary - Physical Education Center 04/28/10 03:30 PM
An individual reported that he placed a padlock on a locker in the P.E. Center at approximately 3:00 pm. When he returned at 3:30 pm, the victim found that the lock had been cut off. Upon further investigation, it was determined that three additional lockers also had their padlocks cut. There are no known witnesses. Open Case.

Criminal Mischief - Parking Lot #4 04/28/10 07:50 PM
An individual parked her car in Lot #4 at approximately 5:55 pm and when she returned at 7:50 pm she noticed several horizontal scrapes along the entire length of the passenger side body and on the top of the hood. There are no known suspects or witnesses at this time. Open Case.

Motor Vehicle Accident - Parking Lot #6A 04/28/10 10:29 AM
While attempting to park in Lot #6A, Vehicle #2 struck parked Vehicle #1 on the rear door panel of the driver's side. Vehicle #2 continued to be driven causing significant damage to Vehicle #1. The driver then left the scene. A witness provided a plate number and description of Vehicle #2. The driver was issued a summons for leaving the scene of an accident. Closed - C.

Medical - Physical Education Center 04/27/10 07:45 PM
An individual felt weak and was short of breath after he began running. The patient was alert and oriented when police arrived on the scene and refused medical attention. Closed - C.

Medical - College Center 04/27/10 02:51 PM
After dancing, an individual became very weak, unable to catch her breath and then lost conciousness for a few seconds. The patient was given oxygen and transported by EMS to a local hospital. Closed - C.

Theft - Parking Lot #11 04/26/10 07:54 PM
After leaving her vehicle parked in Lot #11, the victim returned to find several items missing. Included in those items were a Magellon GPS unit with power cord, 4 gift certificates and sum of cash. There are no known suspects or witnesses at this time. Open Case.

After running to class, a female began feeling dizzy and lightheaded. The patient also complained of not being able to feel her legs. EMS was called to the scene. The patient declined further medical attention. Closed - C.

A faculty member reported that she set up a room for an a.m. lab, secured the room and left for the day. When she returned the next morning, she found that the room had been re-arranged and several items missing. Closed - C.

Someone reported seeing a suspicious package in Lot #4. There were two bags, one white plastic and one brown paper. The contents were visable. Upon inspection it was determined that the bags were filled with trash from gardening products and subsequently were properly disposed of. Closed - C.

An individual left his cell phone in a secured locker in the men's locker room. Upon returning to the area, the victim found that the lock had been tampered with and his cell phone was missing from the locker. An individual reported that he left his wallet in a secured locker in the men's locker room and upon returning to the locker found that his wallet was no longer there. Among items in the wallet were a security license, school ID, 2 bank cards, driver's license and sum of cash. Criminal Mischief - Parking Lot #1 04/22/10 11:54 AM
After leaving his vehicle parked in Lot #1, the driver returned to find a number of verticle scratch marks in a softball size area on the rear passenger side of the vehicle. There are no known witnesses or suspects at this time. Open Case.

An employee was emptying the trash cylinder when the lid fell down and bruised her finger. The individual refused medical attention. Closed - C.

An individual was performing a flip and upon landing her heel came in contact with the ground causing an injury to her right ankle. The patient was transported by EMS to a local hospital. Closed - C.

Motor Vehicle Accident - College Dr. East 04/20/10 04:03 PM
Vehicle #1 was traveling west on College Dr. East. The driver illegally passed another car and, after passing the car, lost control of his vehicle striking a light pole head on. Vehicle #1 sustained significant front end damage. Closed - C.

Theft - Physical Education Center 04/19/10 12:38 PM
An individual reported that sometime between 11:00 am and 12:30 pm someone removed his wallet from his bag which was located in an unsecured locker in the men's locker room. The wallet was found in a garbage bin by the restrooms. Missing from the wallet were his license, student I.D., debit card and a sum of cash. The license and student I.D. were later retrieved at Lost & Found. UPDATE: 4/29/10 - Police investigation conducted provided the identity of a suspect responsible for the theft. Case Closed - A.

On 4/15/10 at approximately 11:00 am, an individual entered the men's locker room, changed his clothes and placed them in a secured locker. After working out in the weight room, he returned and changed back into the clothes. He left the PEC and went to College Center. It was then he realized that his wallet was missing. Among items in the wallet were his driver's license and bank card. Four fraudulent transactions occurred on his bank card between 4/15/10 and 4/16/10. An individual reported that as he turned into the campus onto College Drive East, the driver in front of him began to hit his brakes almost coming to a complete stop and continued to drive in this manner. He requested this be documented should any other incidents arise. Closed - C.

A staff member accidentally struck himself in the eye with a mop handle causing swelling and bruising in the area round his right eye. He declined further medical attention. Closed - C.

Harassment - Edison Campus 04/13/10 02:30 PM
After exchanging phone numbers with a classmate, a student felt uncomfortable with the communications and requested her number be deleted from his phone. Several text messages and calls were made before the suspect did so. The suspect was made aware of the seriousness of the situation and stopped all communication. The driver of Vehicle #2 failed to stop completely at the stop sign and was impacted by Vehicle #1 which was traveling west in Lot #4. Vehicle #1 sustained substantial front bumper damage. Vehicle #2 sustained paint transfer. No injuries were reported. Closed - C.
