Medical - Parking Lot #5 - Handicap Section 05/26/10 01:19 PM
An individual experienced a seizure in Lot #5. The patient was responsive but not cognizant of his surroundings. EMS transported the patient to a local hospital. Closed - C.

Hit and Run - Parking Lot #4 05/25/10 08:23 PM
Vehicle #1 was parked in Lot #4 facing north. When the driver returned, she found a circular crack on the front bumper near the license plate bracket. There are no known suspects or witnesses at this time. Open Case.

Dispute - College Center 05/25/10 11:44 AM
An individual became upset after putting money into a vending machine and finding that the product did not dispense. She attempted to gain the assistance of a busy cashier and felt discriminated against when the cashier continued to assist those on line. The individual was then given a form to fill out for a refund. Closed - C.

Motor Vehicle Stop - Parking Lot #10 05/25/10 04:45 PM
A driver was observed in Lot #10 forcibly expanding a black gravity lock baton out his driver's side window. When questioned as to why he had the baton in his possession, he stated that he uses it at work in animal control. The baton was confiscated for safe keeping. Closed - C.

A staff member reported receiving several unwanted phone calls both at home and work. Upon investigation, it was determined that this was a personal matter and would be handled as such. Closed - C.

Criminal Mischief - Johnson Learning Center 05/20/10 01:19 PM
A fire alarm was activated on the second floor entrance of JLC. The building was evacuated and searched for signs of smoke or fire. The search produced negative results. The alarm was reset. There are no witnesses at this time. Open Case.

A female patient was observed as being unresponsive with labored breathing. The patient was administered oxygen and transported via EMS to a local hospital. Closed - C.

An individual was arrested after shoplifting a number of textbooks from the Blue Colt Bookstore. Closed - A.

Suspicious Person - Bookstore 05/14/10 02:00 PM
An individual had attempted to sell back several copies of the same textbook. The suspect could not provide an explanation as to why there were so many copies of the book nor was there proof of the original purchase. The suspect was advised as to conditions set for selling back books. Closed - C.

Harassment - Main Hall 05/14/10 05:30 AM
A complaint was received by police from a woman who was distraught after being involved in a conversation where one of the men in a group individuals made a derrogatory comment about a particular group of people. The complainant felt it was important enough to report it to the authorities for further investigation. RTD

Suspicious Person - Instructional Resource Center 05/12/10 04:00 PM
A staff member reported that on several occasions a suspicious person came to her office demanding work hours though the individual was not an employee. The individual was instructed each time to leave the premises. No additional incidents have occurred at this time. Closed - C.

An individual reported that the lock he used on his locker had been removed. No items were missing from the locker with the exception of the lock. There are no known suspects or witnesses at this time. Open Case.

An individual reported that he lost his flash drive which contained school work and a novel that he had been working on. Closed - C.

Medical - College Center 05/11/10 08:28 AM
Upon completing a project for class, a student picked up a hot sheet pan causing minor burns to both the left and right index fingers and thumbs. The patient was treated at the scene and refused further medical attention. Closed - C.

A faculty member reported losing her keys in her home out of state. She hopes to recover them within the next few weeks. Closed - C.

Theft - Johnson Learning Center 05/10/10 11:00 AM
A faculty member reported a computer malfunctioning. Upon further investigation by the I.T. Department, it was determined that parts were missing from inside the computer tower. A locking mechanism had been pulled off to gain access to the inside of the computer. There are no known witnesses or suspects at this time. Open Case.

Motor Vehicle Accident - Parking Lot #1 05/10/10 04:57 PM
A pedestrian was walking west in Lot #1 when Vehicle #2 traveling in the same direction struck the pedestrian with the front passenger side bumper. The pedestrian complained of hip and shoulder pain and was transported to a local hospital. Closed - C.

Criminal Mischief - Softball Field 05/10/10 02:10 PM
At approximately 2:00 pm on 5/10/2010, a staff member reported finding white spray paint markings in the dugout area of the field along with a damaged black wooden dog. An individual was seen in the area but it could not be determined if he was involved. Open Case.

Motor Vehicle Accident - Parking Lot #4 05/10/10 02:09 PM
Vehicle #2 backed into Vehicle #1 while exiting a parking space. Vehicle #1 sustained deep scratches to its driver's side rear bumper and side panel. Vehicle #2 sustained scrapes to its rear driver's side rim and superficial scratches along the entire rear bumper. Closed - C.

An individual reported losing keys sometime after 2:30 pm on 5/7/10. They were last seen in the women's restroom located in JLC. Closed - C.

An individual returned a number of books within a short period of time. The subject stated that the returns were being made for a relative. Closed - C.

A staff member reported that a computer had been moved from its original location and the wires disconnected. He had secured the door to the room which housed the computer the evening before. Upon his arrival at 9 AM the following morning, he found the computer moved. No items were missing. Closed - C.

While in the course of throwing a football around, an individual fell on the asphalt hitting his head. The patient became dazed and also complained of wrist pain. The patient was treated at the scene. Closed - C.

Medical - College Center 05/06/10 12:00 PM
Upon opening the door to College Center, an individual experienced sharp shooting pain in her right shoulder. EMS was called to the scene and the patient was treated at the site. Closed - C.

Vehicle #1 was parked and unoccupied behind Vehicle #2. Vehicle #2 did not see Vehicle #1 behind it and began to back out of the parking space striking Vehicle #1 in the rear passenger fender. Closed - C.

Motor Vehicle Accident - Parking Lot #6 05/04/10 01:58 PM
Vehicle #1 was stopped at the stop sign exiting Lot #6. Vehicle #2 failed to stop in time and rear-ended Vehicle #1. Vehicle #1 sustained scrapes and a significant dent to the rear driver's side bumper. Vehicle #2 sustained damage to the front passenger's side bumper/side panel and a broken headlight. Closed - C.
