An individual accidentally stuck herself with a needle which had lidocaine and human blood on it. The patient refused medical attention and stated she would transport herself to a local hospital. #I-0335-13.

While running up the stairs, an individual slipped and struck his ankle. An ice pack was applied at the scene. The patient refused further medical attention. #I-0333-13.

Fire Alarm - Chambers Hall 11/27/13 10:37 AM
After using an electric stove in Room 120, a fire alarm activated. There was a blue colored smoke in the room and the smell of somthing buring. There was food stuck below the just used coils which burnt when the stove top was in use. The fire deparment checked the stove and surrounding areas and deemed the building safe to re-enter. #I-0334-13.

Fire Alarm - College Center/PAC 11/24/13 06:11 AM
A fire alarm activated in the College Center; a check of the alarm panel box revealed activation in Room 200b Cafeteria. Upon arrival of the Fire Department, a complete building check was conducted. There was no sign of smoke or fire. A fire watch was maintained until the alarm could be reset. #I-0330-13.

Motor Vehicle Accident - College Drive East 11/22/13 09:57 AM
Vehicle #1 was slowing down from vehicle traffic in front of her when Vehicle #2 wasn't able to come to a complete stop striking Vehicle #1. Vehicle #1 sustained damage to the driver's side rear bumper and Vehicle #2 sustained damage to the front driver's side bumper. #13-156 Closed C.

Medical - Physical Education Center 11/22/13 08:02 AM
An individual injured his shoulder while swimming. The patient stated that he pushed off the wall and caused his shoulder to dislocate. The patient claimed to have had previous issues with the shoulder. #I-0329-13.

Concerned Individual - Chambers Hall 11/21/13 04:20 PM
A faculty member expressed concerns regarding an individual who had repeatedly telephoned her office and whose conversation became scattered and very incoherent. The offender was mailed a defiant trepass notice. #I-0328-13.

Motor Vehicle Accident - Parking Lot #1 11/21/13 02:06 PM
Vehicle #2 was traveling west in Parking Lot #1 when it was struck by Vehicle #1. Vehicle #1 sustained minor scratches on the rear bumper. Vehicle #2 sustained a large dent on the passenger side front and back doors. The driver of Vehicle #2 complained of back pain but did not want an ambulance. #13-155 - Closed C.

Theft - Parking Lot #4 11/20/13 12:35 PM
On 11/20/13 at apprxo. 12:35 while on patrol, a police officer was approached by a female who stated that someone had taken her boyfriend's Ray-Ban Sunglasses from his vehicle. These were later seen on another person on campus. This incident occurred on 11/06/13 between 12:30 pm and 2:30 pm. #13-154 - Open.

Disorderly Person - Chambers Drive 11/20/13 03:01 PM
A complaint was received regarding an individual who was causing a scene by screaming and engaging in loud and tumultuous behavior. Identification of the suspect was made; no further action was taken. #I-0327-13.

Medical - College Center 11/20/13 09:24 AM
While using a hand mixer, the patient's hand slipped and her right thumb became trapped between the case and bowl. The patient was treated with an ice pack and refused further medical attention. #I-0326-13.

Police were dispatched to IRC on the report of a student complaining of sharp chest pains. EMS were called to the scene; the patient refused further medical attention. #I-0320-13.

Disruptive Individuals - College Center/PAC 11/19/13 01:14 PM
A complaint was received regarding a large group of individuals gathered in the College Center. The group was being disruptive and were instructed to disperse. #I-0322-13.

Lost/Missing Property - New Brunswick Center 11/19/13 05:00 PM
An individual reported that she left her I-Phone in the 2nd floor women's restroom for several minutes. When she came back to retrieve the property, it was no longer there. #I-0325-13.

Motor Vehicle Stop - Parking Lot #1 11/18/13 07:00 PM
A motor vehicle stop was conducted for an obstructed windshield. When the officer approached the vehicle, a strong odor of marijuana was detected. The driver stated his brother had possibly used the vehicle. Subsequently, the driver retrieved three small blunts from the vehicle and was directed by the officer to smash the joints up on the asphalt and then dispose of the blunts. The driver complied. #I-0319-13.

Found Property - College Center 11/18/13 03:30 PM
An officer observed a small pocket knife sticking out of an individual's jacket pocket at an I.D.R.C. class. For the safety of the group, the knife was retrieved by the officer and held at Headquarters for the individual until he was ready to leave campus. #I-0318-13.

Motor Vehicle Accident - Parking Lot #1 11/18/13 02:41 PM
When Vehicle #2 was backing out of a parking spot, it struck Vehicle #1 which was passing. Vehicle #1 sustained damage to the front passenger door and Vehicle #2 sustained damage to the left side of the rear bumper. No injuries were reported. #13-152 - Closed C.

Motor Vehicle Accident - Parking Lot #6 11/14/13 09:15 AM
Vehicle #1 was backing out of a parking space when it clipped the rear bumper of Vehicle #2 which was traveling north on the roadway. No injuries were reported. #13-151 - Closed C.

When walking down the steps outside of South 2, an individual heard a pop in her right knee and felt immediate pain. The patient could not put any weight on her leg and was transported to a local hospital. #I-0315-13.

Motor Vehicle Accident - College Dr. East 11/13/13 01:33 PM

Suspicious Activity - North Hall 11/07/13 12:27 PM
A faculty member reported that sometime between 6:00 pm on 10/24/13 and 5:00 pm on 10/29/13 someone had entered his office and shuffled paper around. Also a three inch metal bracket which he purchaed was taken out of the packaging and drilled into the shelf. He also noticed that his phone was disconnected and unplugged causing his battery to die. There are no suspects or witnesses at this time. #I-0310-13.

Simple Assault - Parking Lot #6 11/07/13 08:37 AM
An individual was pulling out of a parking spot in order to straighten out her vehicle. Another individual pulled in and the two drivers became involved in a dispute. The second driver claimed that the first driver pushed him twice. The first driver denied it. The driver of the second vehicle moved his car to another lot and was advised of how to file a complaint with the court system if he chose to do so. #13-145 - Open.

Disruptive Individual - Chambers Hall 11/07/13 10:09 AM
Police responded to Chambers Hall on the report of an individual very agigated. The subject had requested assistance in sending out a transcript, but was not given the information he requested and words were exchanged. The Registrar assisted in handling the situation. #I-0309-13.

Vehicle #1 was backing out a parking space when it struck Vehicle #2 which had passed another vehicle waiting to park. Vehicle #1 sustained damage to the driver's side rear bumper. Vehicle #2 sustained damage to the driver's side front and rear doors. #13-146 - Closed C.

Motor Vehicle Accident - Parking Lot #6 11/07/13 11:30 AM
An individual came to Headquarters to report that she was struck by a vehicle after walking out between parked cars. The pedestrian complained of pain in her right hip but refused medical treatment. The driver stated that the pedestrian came out suddenly from between parked cars and he slowed stating she touched the vehicle. #13-147 - Closed.

Motor Vehicle Accident - Otlowski Drive 11/07/13 02:02 PM
A pedestrian was struck by a motor vehicle while crossing between the Academy High School and Crabiel Hall on Otlowski Dr. The vehicle had driven over the victim's foot causing her to fall and hit her head. The driver left the scene and returned later in the day to turn herself in. The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital by a family member for pain in the right foot and head. #13-148 - Closed C.

Criminal Mischief - Parking Lots 1 and 2 11/04/13 04:10 PM
An individual came into Headquarters on 11/4/13 to report that sometime over the course of a month, an unknown person or persons had scratched his vehicle from the driver's side door to the back door and one tire had been punctured. He also stated that his antenna had been ripped off the car a few weeks ago. #13-142 Open.

Criminal Mischief - Crabiel Hall 11/04/13 04:11 AM
A custodian reported that there were phones missing from classrooms on the second floor of Crabiel Hall. A similar incident had taken place on May 18, 2013. This case is currently under investigation. #13-140 Open.

Criminal Mischief - Crabiel Hall 11/04/13 11:45 AM
Police were dispatched to Crabiel Hall on the report of grafitti found inside the first floor women's restroom. This is an open investigation with no suspects at the current time. #13-141 - Open. UPDATE 11/5/13 @ 1400 - Additional grafitti has been found in the the women's restroom. 11/6/13 @ 0919 - A possible suspect in this case was seen entering the restroom, which had just been inspected and found to be clean. At 0926, When the suspect left the restroom, grafitti was found once again. #13-141 (CSC).

Suspicious Person - College Center 11/02/13 01:21 AM
A custodial staff member reported hearing someone in the men's bathroom on the first floor of CC. Police found an individual there who stated he was waiting for a ride as he was having car trouble. The subject was advised of College policies regarding hours of operation and then escorted out of the building and off College property. #I-0304-13.

Request for Assistance - Billy Johnson Hall 11/02/13 11:44 AM
A male and female were found sleeping in the lobby of Billy Johnson Hall. It was determined that they were recently deemed homeless. Police offered assistance in locating a shelter for them; after the female spoke with the male, she stated she would find help on her own. They were advised to contact police should they need assistance in locating a shelter. #I-305-13.

Verbal Dispute - Bus Route 11/01/13 12:04 PM
An individual stated that she paid $2.50 for the cost of traveling to Perth Amboy via NJ Transit. When the bus got to MCC, the driver requested she exit and re-enter paying a transfer fee. This resulted in a dispute. The individual was able to obtain a ride back to Perth Amboy. #I-303-13.

An individual experienced a seizure and may have hit her head on the desk. The patient was visably confused. EMS was called to the scene and transported the patient to a local hospital. #I-0301-13.
