An individual was traveling on College Drive East after attending an event on campus. The road had become flooded between the P.E. Center and Parking Lot #3 and the individual attempted to drive through the flood. His vehicle stalled in the water and was subsequently towed. #I-2014-005888.

Motor Vehicle Accident - Parking Lot #1 03/28/14 10:36 AM
Vehicle #1 was driving north from Lot #1 approaching a stop sign when it was struck by Vehicle #2 which was turning left into Lot #1 from College Drive East. Vehicle #1 had to be towed from the scene. No injuries were reported. #I-2014-005820 - Closed C.

Theft - Instructional Resource Center 03/28/14 03:10 PM
An individual reported that she left her purse in her backpack unattended in IRC 205 at approx. 12:20 pm. At 2:00 pm, she went into her backpack and noticed the purse missing. Among the missing items were a debit card, cedit card, NJ driver's license, student I.D. and sum of cash. #I-2014-005826 - Open.

Criminal Mischief - Center IV 03/27/14 02:54 PM
Two locks on the interior entrance doors to Center IV had what appeared to be paper clips jammed inside of them. The locks were not damaged. One of the staff members reported that she did not notice anyone suspicious in the building. #I-2014-005747 - Closed B.

Damaged Property - Parking Lot #5 03/26/14 08:15 AM
An individual reported to police that when she arrived on campus, her rear car window shattered after parking her vehicle. The damage is believed to have been cuaed by a temperature difference between the interior and exterior temperature; the windshield previously had a small crack. #I-2014-005628.

Medical - College Center 03/26/14 09:51 AM
Police were dispatched to the College Center for an individual who had fainted. When Police arrived, the patient was conscious. EMS was called to the scene to evaluate the patient who then refused further treatment. I-2014-005633.

An individual was experiencing respiratory distress. Oxygen was administered to the patient. EMS transported the patient to a local hospital. #I-2014-005646.

Theft - Library 03/26/14 04:34 PM
A wallet had been recovered and turned in to the MCCPD. The owner of the wallet was notified; when the owner came to pick-up the wallet, she noticed that a debit card and sum of cash were missing. No suspicious charges were placed on the card; the card has since been deactivated. #I-2014-005662 - Closed B.

Dispute - East Hall 03/25/14 01:49 PM
A dispute evolved when an individual requested to speak with a certain individual regarding her financial aid. The person she wished to speak with was not available. A staff member called police; the subject then wished to file a harassment charge against the staff member for notifying the police. At this time, no charges have been filed. #I-2014-005565 - Open.

Damaged Property - Parking Lot #3 03/24/14 12:47 PM
A tractor trailer, attempting to make a delivery at the College Center, ran over the dirt area by the loading dock resulting in damage to the surface. A maintenance vehicle in the roadway had blocked his access. I-2014-005474.

Vehicle #1 was proceeding west in Lot #4 when Vehicle #2 struck Vehicle #1 on the rear bumper. No injuries were reported. #I-2014-005292 - Closed C.

Vehicle #1 was traveling through Lot #4 when it was struck by Vehicle #2 which was traveling through the open parking stalls. Both vehicles sustained damage and were towed from the scene. #I-2014-005302 - Closed C.

A female reported via telephone that there was a male student sitting next to her who was touching himself inappropriately. After speaking with police, the suspect admitted that this had taken place. The suspect was then transported to counseling without further incident. #I-2014-005060 - CSC.

Medical - Flagpole Circle 03/17/14 11:17 AM
An adult female had fallen near the Flagpole Circle while running to Main Hall. The patient stated that she did not want EMS but requested to be helped to her feet. Officers assisted the patient and transported her to Main Hall. #I-2014-004975.

A female reported that while her vehicle was parked in Lot #1 between 12:00 pm and 2:50 pm, it had sustained scratches from the front to the back doors on both sides of the vehicle. A staff member reported that while his vehicle was parked in Lot #16 between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm on 3/13, someone made four scratch marks across the back of the vehicle. #I-2014-004732 - Open.

Theft - Parking Lot #7 03/13/14 09:14 AM
A staff member parked her vehicle in Lot #7 and upon her return to the vehicle noticed that 2 front bumper headlight washer covers were missing. The victim stated that while at home the vehicle is garage-kept and believes that the theft of the covers occurred while the vehicle was parked in Lot #7. I-2014-004711 - Open.

An individual reported that a sum of money had been taken out of her wallet while it was inside a locker in the HRI locker room. There are no suspects or witnesses at this time. #I-2014-004645 - Open.

Motor Vehicle Accident - Parking Lot #1 03/12/14 03:09 PM
Vehicle #2 struck Vehicle #1 as it was backing out of a parking space in Lot #1. Vehicle #1 sustained damage to the corner of the rear bumper on the driver's side. No injuries were reported. #I-2014-004659 - Closed C.

Arrest - Technology Dr. 03/12/14 12:31 PM
Police approached a subject on Technology Drive who was known to police from prior encounters. The subject had an outstanding warrant for his arrest out of Perth Amboy. When police approached the subject, he fled on foot. A foot chase ensued and subsequently the subject was taken into custody. #I-2014-004658 - A.

A staff member reported an attempted theft of a Dell computer monitor out of Crabiel Hall Room 221. While the theft was unsuccessful, the computer monitor was damaged and is in need of replacement. #I-2014-004568 - Open.

A staff member reported that her prescription antibiotics had been taken out of her purse which was located in her desk drawer; neither cash nor credit cards were reported missing from the purse. #I-2014-004485 - Open.

Dispute - Physical Education Center 03/06/14 05:35 PM
After slipping in the locker room, a female entered the pool and complained of feeling dizzy and nauseous. The female was asked to exit the pool and initially refused to do so. When police arrived, the female had gotten out of the pool and refused medical attention. No further action was necessary. #I-2014-004237.

Motor Vehicle Accident - Parking Lot #4 03/03/14 12:32 PM
The driver of Vehicle #1 was stopped in traffic when it was struck by Vehicle #2 which was backing out of a parking spot. Vehicle #1 sustained damage to the rear bumper. Vehicle #2 sustained damage to the left rear quarter panel and door. No injuries were reported. #I-2014-003995 - Closed C.

Harrassment - Parking Lot #4 03/01/14 11:35 AM
A dispute over a family matter occurred in Lot #4. One of the individuals called police as her vehicle was being blocked by two family members. After obtaining identification from all three, the two individuals who were not students were asked to leave and the student was advised that the incident would be documented. #I-2014-003894 - Closed C.
