Computerized Medical Office Assistant
After successful completion of this course, a student will be qualified to begin their career as an entry level medical office specialist. The program includes the following components: medical terminology with basic anatomy and physiology (covering all body systems), introduction to pharmacology), medical billing and insurance, law and ethics, ICD-9-CM and CPT4 coding, Medisoft medical billing/accounting software program including appointment scheduling, basic office procedures and career development.

Computerized Medical Office Specialist
Interested in enhancing or changing careers but your time is limited. This fast paced course will cover the necessary topic to become a medical office specialist. Topic include: medical terminology with basic anatomy and physiology (covering all body systems and pharmacology), medical billing and insurance, law and ethics, ICD-9-CM and CPT4 coding, Medisoft medical billing/accounting software program including appointment scheduling, and basic office procedures. Some homework assignments will be required.
