Putting Pizazz in PowerPoint Presentations

In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn how to make your PowerPoint presentations more appealing with the addition of pictures, hyperlinks, sound effects, animations, and more. You'll also learn how to create a handout version of your presentation for your students and upload it to Campus Cruiser.

Prerequisites:  This workshop is not for PowerPoint novices!  Participants should have some experience using PowerPoint and logging on to Campus Cruiser.  Bring your user ID and password in order to access files on Campus Cruiser.

Veterans in the Classroom: Issues and Suggestions

The presentation will highlight areas of concern as identified by veterans on campus.  Using scholarly research, the presenter will provide a background for the discussion focused on strategies to address these concerns.  Current issues and practical suggestions for interacting with veterans will be discussed.  Faculty will be encouraged to share their own experiences with veterans in their classroom.
