You need JavaScript enabled to view it has been an Information Technology instructor since 1988 and has been an MCC adjunct in the Department of Computer Science & Information Technology since 2000. She has served as Chair and/or member on MCC councils and committees including the Council for Adjunct Faculty Development, Community & Public Relations Committee and Mentor Committee since 2000. She has also served as Chair and/or member on several TCNJ councils and committees since 2004, including the TCNJ Staff Senate, Communication & Public Relations Council, Staff Senate Executive Board, Traffic Appeals Board, Standard Software Committee and several department interview committees. She received her BS from Cook College, Rutgers University, in 1987. She was awarded the 2003 MCC Adjunct of the Year, Excellence Award and was nominated for the TCNJ Helen Shaw Special Achievement Award in 2004. She also volunteers her time to several community organizations.

She previously served as Chair of the Council in 2005 and as Chair of the Mentoring Committee in 2006. She is an adjunct instructor in the English as a Second Language Department (ESL). She has taught various levels of ESL courses at MCC since 1995, both on campus and at the Perth Amboy Center. In 2005, she was the recipient of MCC‘s Adjunct Award for Excellence. She has been an ESL instructor since 1979 in the Edison and Old Bridge School districts where she also served as ESL/Bilingual Supervisor. She was a member of several NJ Department of Education ESL curriculum committees as well as a presenter at Teachers of English to Learners of Other Languages (TESOL) conferences. She received her B.A. in Spanish, and MA in Education fromKean University, where she later obtained her Special Education, LDT-C, and Supervision certificates.

He received his B.S. in Accounting/Finance from RiderUniversity and his M.B.A. from Seton Hall University. He has taught various accounting and business courses since arriving at MCC in 1977. Mike has over 30 years of professional experience in both government and private industry as an accountant, tax accountant, auditor, managerial accountant, controller and financial analyst.

He has taught various accounting courses since his arrival at MCC in September, 1987. John received his B.S. in Accounting from The College of New Jersey (formerly Trenton State College) in 1973 and earned his CPA Certification from the New Jersey Board of Accountancy in 1980. John is employed by the United States Treasury as a Territory Manager in the Retail Food and Pharmaceutical Industry.

His subjects include Algebra, Computer Science and Student Success for the Mathematics Department, Computer Science Department and the Department of History and Social Science respectively. Melvin has a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and a M.S. degree in Engineering Management from NJIT. He is a retiree of PSEG's Information Technology Department.

You need JavaScript enabled to view it (2011-2012 Chair of the Council) is a communication consultant that specializes in public relations, marketing, and event management.  Her clients include non-profit organizations and small businesses looking to increase their exposure though strategic partnerships, special events, and media coverage.  Her campaigns have been covered by CNN, Associate Press, New York Times, as well and all the major NY television news stations and local New Jersey news outlets.  Ms. Johnson has been an adjunct professor at Middlesex County College since 2004.  Her courses taught include Public Speaking, Mass Media and Society, and the Cooperative Education and Internship Seminar.

After working in the Politics Department of Princeton University and the Tribunal Office of the Diocese of Metuchen, Zenora came to MCC in November of 1998. She first worked in the Department of Continuing Education and moved to her current position as the Departmental Assistant of theAdjunct Faculty Center in September, 1999. Zenora is well-known to all adjunct faculty who visit the Adjunct Faculty Center in Raritan Hall and often tells them "The Center is your home, please visit as often as you like."

Margot Lowell has been an adjunct professor for the ESL Department of Middlesex since 1991. She has a Bachelor’s Degree from St. John’s University and a Master’s Degree from the College of Staten Island. Prof. Lowell is retired from the NYC Board of Education.

She has taught numerous courses in the Accounting and Legal Studies Department including Introduction to the Paralegal Profession, Legal Research and Legal Writing. She has taught at the college since 1993. She has taken time off from her law practice to raise her two young children. She received her B.A. in Philosophy from Drew University and her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law.

She has a Ph.D. in Higher Education with a minor in Child Development from the University of Pittsburghand taught in the Indiana community college system and for the American Red Cross prior to moving to New Jersey in May, 2003.

Ed Ruhno is an adjunct instructor in the Department of Accounting and Legal Studies, is a charter member of the Council and served as Chair of the Council from 1995-1997 and again from 2000-2001. He earned his B.S. from Widener College. He has taught accounting and business courses at MCC since January, 1982. Ed is employed by the United States Treasury as an accountant.

Anne Topping has been a member of the adjunct faculty for the Accounting and Legal, History, and Computer Science departments at MCC for ten years.  Anne has a bachelor's degree in Mathematics and an MBA, both from the Polytechnic Institute of New York.  She has participated on a variety of college committees, the latest one being the Middle States Certification committee on courseaccreditation.

Dean Barbara Greene (Member Emeritus in Perpetuity), one of the Council's founders and charter members, served as the Dean of Academic Services and Urban Centers until her retirement in June 2001. She earned her A.B. and M.Ed. from Rutgers University. Dean Greene began working at MCC in 1972 as an admissions counselor. She moved into the administrative ranks when she joined the Division of Continuing Education in 1974 and was appointed Dean of Instructional Resources and Urban Centers in 1995. Although retired from the College, her spirit remains an integral part of the Council for Adjunct Faculty Development.

Richard Ellison (Member Emeritus in Perpetuity), one of the Council's founders and charter members, served as the Chairperson of the Department of Accounting and Legal Studies retirement in June 2010. Prof. Ellison has taught various accounting courses since first arriving at MCC in 1988. He received his B.S. in Accounting from Rutgers University and an M.B.A. in Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Rich was also the CFO of an Edison-based manufacturing company and is a licensed public accountant.

Ron earned his B.A. from the City University of New York and his J.D. from New York Law School. He was an adjunct, teaching various law courses, until 1995 when he became Chairperson of the Accounting and Legal Studies Department. He now serves as the Vice President for Legal and External Affairs. Ron was one of the founding members of the Council in 1988 and has served on it continuously since then.
