Art Exhibit to Feature Toys
An exhibit of toys created by artists will be held at Middlesex County College from February 10-March 10. The exhibit will take place in the Studio Theatre Gallery. A reception, open to the public, will be held Thursday, February 10 from 5-7 p.m.
College Dedicates New Building to Late Freeholder Director
Family, friends and colleagues of the late Middlesex County Freeholder Director David B. Crabiel joined the College community January 18 as its newest building was dedicated in his honor. Mr. Crabiel served on the freeholder board for 27 years – 13 of those as director – and was a legend in the county and state.
MCC and NJIT Develop Joint Degree in Biotechnology/Biochemistry
Officials from Middlesex County College and the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) have created a joint degree program that links the Biotechnology Program at Middlesex with the Biochemistry Program at NJIT. Students who enroll in the program spend two years at Middlesex; if they graduate with a 2.75 grade point average and are recommended by the department chairperson, they are automatically accepted into the Biochemistry program at NJIT as juniors.
