Goin' for Gold: New Student Services Building Planned
A new building at MCC that will house student services is in development, creating a one-stop location for Admissions, Financial Aid, the Scholarships Office, Student Accounts, Advising, the Registrar and First-Year Experience. Called the Center for Student Services, it will also include a student lounge, a large multipurpose room, a central lobby area with online admission kiosks, a conference room and office space.
Alumnus Named an Outstanding Senior at NJIT
Keith Davis, who graduated in 2011 from Middlesex County College, was named the 2013 Outstanding Senior in the Department of Engineering Technology at the Newark College of Engineering, which is a division of the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
Dental Hygiene Program Re-Accredited by Dental Commission
The Dental Hygiene Program at Middlesex County College has been granted a renewal of accreditation by the American Dental Association Commission on Dental Accreditation. The Commission is a specialized accrediting body recognized by the United States Department of Education.
Diane Gruskowski, assistant
in the Department of Hospitality, Culinary Arts, and Dietetics, received a joint resolution from the New Jersey Assembly and Senate to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Danielle's Law, named for her daughter.
Today's Table at Middlesex County College: Learn to be a Great Cook
This fall, you can learn how to be a great amateur chef. "Today's Table" will be held in Crabiel Hall's state-of-the-art culinary lab. Come hungry and enjoy tastings of food prepared by the chef. Recipes are distributed.
