Middlesex County College Softball Player Named National Player of the Week

Middlesex County College catcher Morgan Widener (Monroe) was named the national Division III Player of the Week for March 26-April 1 by the National Junior College Athletic Conference.

In the six games the team played that week, Widener batted .476, going 10-21. She brought home 11 runs and scored eight of her own. Seven of her hits went for extra bases, including six doubles and a home run.
