Learning to Play Great “D”
The Middlesex County College men’s basketball team was recently honored by the New Jersey Hawks, an athletic program for young adults with developmental disabilities. The MCC team ran a workshop during the season, in which they taught dribbling, passing and shooting skills. In May, the Hawks returned to the campus to present awards to the MCC squad: autographed team photos. The MCC team also conducted a brief clinic and ran a scrimmage. New Jersey Hawks player Eric Dodd works on his defense with Middlesex center Magdy Assawi.
