Information for Teachers

Professional Development programs for teachers, counselors,and administrators:

a. Annual events such as ‘Creative Classroom: Integrating Math and Technology’

b. AP Summer Institutes offered in partnership with the Middle States Regional Office of the College Board –subjects focused on math and sciences to include Biology, Chemistry, Calculus AB/BC, Statistics, Physics, Environmental Science, US History, and Studio Art.  Institutes are held on the Edison campus from 8:15am-4:30pm.  2013 dates:  August 5 -8, 2013.  Click HERE for registration brochure.

*AP Chemistry Teachers - MCC will hold two AP Chemistry Institutes in 2013 to accommodate teachers who need to attend and learn the revisions.  AP Chemistry ONLY will be available on the following dates: CHEMISTRY A - July 29 - August 1, 2013 AND CHEMISTRY B - August 5 - August 8, 2013.  Both sessions are identical in content and will cover the new revisions.  Please indicate A or B on your registration form where you select your subject. 

c. Customized workshops for local districts or other educational institutions – examples: lab safety, math topics for special education and inclusion teachers
