SAT Scores & Placement in Math Classes

(effective 3/10/08)

Students who have taken the SAT prior to March 10, 2008, and have never taken Math classes at MCC will also follow this new math grid which was additionally revised on October 13, 2009.

 

530-559 Exempt from Accuplacer Testing. Eligible for MAT 014 (may challenge); Eligible for MAT 101, 104, 107, and BUS 115
560-599 Exempt from MAT 014.  Eligible for MAT 116 and 123, 129A
600-649 Eligible to register for MAT 129.
650 and higher Eligible for 131 or 131A
