Here are some job search sites that work slightly differently than the ones you may be used to - so be prepared to spend a little time learning how to use them well (note: some of these focus on specific industries):

Jobfox, which offers a "Mutual Suitability System," using an in-depth question-and-answer format to learn about job-seekers' experience, wants, and needs. Jobfox then presents candidates with only the opportunities that match. .

QuietAgent, which claims to "evaluate every job, every day, so you don't have to." The site notes that with QuietAgent, "recruiters use rich toolsets to get two-way private connections with quality candidates."

Climber.com, which helps job-seekers "understand yourself and reveal what types of jobs/companies you will best fit." ."

My Perfect Gig, "a members-only, private career network for engineering professionals

Vitruva, "connect[s] talented professionals with highly qualified job opportunities instantly – in real-time."

OneWire, a site for finance professionals

Stewart Cooper & Coon.com - more job sites than you can imagine!

Dentaljobs.net: provides a complete web site listing jobs and dental information for all dental professionals

The New Jersey Department of Civil Service updates their job listings daily and applications are available online at the site.  NOTE: To those interested in becoming a firefighter or police officer,  the test dates schedules are listed on this site.

Raritan Bay Medical Center: RBMS has established an Internet Career Center for the community.  To be considered for available job opportunities, you may also drop off a resume.  Your qualifications will be reviewed against available openings.  If your qualifications do not match current needs, your resume will be stored in the RBMS database for a period of six months for future consideration.

Easter Seals New Jersey: This organization helps people and families with disabilities and special needs live, work and play in their communities with equality, dignity and independence.  Their monthly Job Line lists positons currently available in New Jersey.

Comcast: One of the world's leading communication companies, the company is focused on broadband cable, commerce and content.  Comcast Cable is the country's largest provider of cable services

ADP: with $8.5 billion in revenues and approximately 590,000 clients worldwide, ADP is one of the largest providers of a broad range of premier, mission-critical, cost-effective transaction processing and information-based business solutions.
