The FREE version includes unlimited storage and viewing, includes the ability to add narration, basic polling and slides play/selection and has easy to use slide by slide editing tools. It is cross platform, so works on a PC and a Mac and there is a  free App to play presentations on an iPad called SlideShark. You can sign up at http://www.brainshark.com/mybrainshark and Online Training videos are at http://www.brainshark.com/help-and-training/self-paced-learning/mybrainshark-free.aspx

An alternative to PowerPoint is Screen Casting software which allows you to create tutorials with audio narration that capture all the activity on the screen. This is ideal for demonstrating how to use a particular feature or tool in a software package. Screencast-o-Maticis a free online software that includes online creation, storage and streaming.
