Also Called the Latin Caribbean Cultural Exchange, Adelante strives to foster campus awareness of issues pertaining to mainland and Caribbean Latinos, as well as to empower students to realize and achieve their academic and professional aspirations.  Adelante also works to foster awareness of issues pertaining to Latinos globally as members seek to exchange cultural and intellectual experiences with people from all cultures.  ADELANTE is an acronym for:
